Blurring Vision
The eyes and vison
The eye is a ball covered with a tough outer membrane. The
covering in front is clear and curved. This curved area is
the cornea(lens), which focuses light while protecting the
eye.
The light passes through fluid-filled chambers which make
up the substance of the eyeball and strikes the back of the
eye, the retina.
the retina converts the light in to signals our brain can
understand .
What can diabetes do ?
Diabetes can affect the lens, which focuses light reflected
from objects, the vitreous, a clear jelly-like substance through
which light passes from the lens to the retina, and the retina,
where images are formed and translated into electric impulses
for interpretation by the brain. this and other causes may
lead to retinopathy,glaucoma and cataract.
